Vertical optical bench in clean room environment
Headquarter in Bosisio Parini (Lecco), Italy
Media Lario Technologies premises in Bosisio Parini cover a total area of about 6000 m2. The facilities of 3600 m2 include more than 2100 m2 of temperature controlled and pre-filtered air area with 1050 m2 of clean rooms with class ranging from 100 to 10000.
Production facilities
Media Lario Technologies has production facilities including 7 electroforming baths and 2 Vacuum Deposition Chamber (PVD) capable of performing vapour deposition at a pressure of 10-8 mbar.
Test and measurement facilities
The metrology and test measurement facilities allows Media Lario Technologies to control the critical parameters relevant to every process step and include:
- Tri-Dimensional Measurement Systems
- Surface Characterization Systems for microroughness measurement and visual examination of superpolished surfaces
- Optical benches
- Degassing Test stand
Media Lario Technologies division in Padova cover a total area of about 200 m2. This satellite MLT division, dedicated to R&D, has just been instituted in Padova, with the specific purposes of developing next generation optics and mirrors for different spectral ranges and strengthening the scientific and technological transfer with Research Laboratories (LNL-INFN), European Research Facilities (Elettra Synchrotron) and Universities (Physics Department of Padova University).
The following facilities and tools are available at Media Lario Technologies:
- Two advanced Vacuum Deposition Chambers (PVD) for RF and Pulsed-DC Plasma assisted deposition of single and multilayer coatings
- Composition Characterization Facilities through Van der Graaf Accelerators and EDAX (SEM) able to characterize/measure surface properties of the coatings.
